We are excited to gradually move back to normal operations as of September 13, 2021. Effective as of Sept. 13th we will continue to accept adoption applications through our website and schedule approved appointments one family at a time. This will apply to our Administrative Offices, where our cats and small mammals are housed, as well as our Farm where our dogs and horses reside. We will do our best to social distance for the safety of all, as well as urge those who visit to wear a mask.
We will continue to maintain essential services while keeping the health of staff, volunteers, and adopters at the forefront. Our staff will always be on hand to care for the animals as usual; however, we will continue to minimize concentration of visitors at our administrative offices and our farm at any one time.
We are very excited to announce our thrift store, Second Chance, will re-open to customers, visitors and volunteers on Monday, Sept. 13th. Our hours will be Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. At this time we will request those entering our store to wear a mask for everyone’s health and safety.
If you have any questions about the changes in our programs and services, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 703-385-PETS. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner.
Our farm is also open by appointment for adoptions and animal socializing. Call 703-815-4494 or e-mail email@example.com for more information.
We thank you for your patience as we navigate our re-openings, while balancing the needs of the shelter pets in our care with the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, and community.
